Technology

Holy Family School has a well-equipped computer lab and a mobile computer lab which are open for all students. Students are able to experience remote controlled Q/A sessions (using iclickers), interactive white boards and more due to the new pieces of technology that are utilized in the classroom. In addition to the computer lab, these are some of the technology devices available to students and teachers:

At Holy Family School, technology standards are integrated directly into the core curriculum. In the middle school grades, students learn how to use common Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Students will use these programs to demonstrate mastery of computer skills by creating presentation materials. Online resources will also be utilized for educational research.

In the elementary grades, students are introduced to many core technology skills including keyboard typing and using websites during classes in various subjects. Students will also be introduced to the Microsoft Office programs including Power Point and how it can be used to create slides.
