An elephant with 5 legs? And 5 toes on each leg??And five fleas on each toe??? It was all part of Mr. Thill’s master plan to teach exponents to our 6th graders and they are loving it. To quote one 6th grader, “I didn’t know Math could be this funny!” But Mr. Thill insists it’s all hard work, even when they are having fun. So hard he even has to wear a tool belt!
