Welcome from the Principal

Jere Kubuske

Dear Parents, Students and Faith Community,

Welcome to Holy Family Catholic School, where we have a strong tradition of inspiring faith, family values and ensuring high levels of student learning since 1954 (now 65 continuous years). We are a proud member of the GRACE School System, which includes nine Catholic schools in the Green Bay area. At Holy Family, we strive to provide a superior education in an engaging and faith-based environment that encourages the spiritual, academic, social, emotional and physical development of every child.

We are extremely proud to an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School. In fact, we are ONE of only SEVEN IB World Schools in the state of Wisconsin for the Middle Years Programme (yes, that’s spelled correctly). MYP is a challenging framework that encourages our 6th-8th grade students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world. It is extremely inclusive by design and students of all interests and academic abilities will benefit from participation. To learn more about MYP, I encourage you to CLICK HERE.

At Holy Family Catholic School, we are FAMILY. Our faculty is outstanding and view teaching as it should be – as a true vocation. Our dedicated staff works diligently to meet the individual needs of all students while maintaining personal connections with their families. We believe that Holy Family Catholic School shares a responsibility for the total development of our students with the home, Church, and the Greater Green Bay Community.

I am extremely delighted to serve as the Principal of Holy Family Catholic School and be a part of the GRACE School System. I have more than 15 years in education, most of which has been as a teacher-leader. I am originally from Ohio (Cleveland area) and grew up the son of educators. Growing up watching my parents serve their students and their communities, I always knew that that was what I am called to do. I have been privileged enough to have the opportunity to be a teacher, coach, or administrator in 4 different states and in all different types of educational settings. I am honored to now have the opportunity to serve here at Holy Family.

I encourage you to get to know Holy Family Catholic School and get to know me as well. I am more than excited to make connections with the students, parents and greater faith community. I am driven to ensure that EVERY student attending our school learns at the highest level. My mantra as an educator is ‘ALL MEANS ALL’. I look forward to working side-by-side with you to make this a reality. Make it a GREAT Day…The Holy Family Way!

Your Partner in a Christ-Centered Education,

Biography:

I grew up all over Northern Ohio, the son of educators. While I spent most of my childhood in the Cleveland area, I graduated from Lake High School (2000) just outside of Toledo. I completed my undergraduate work at Walsh University in Canton, OH. While there I lettered in football where our home field was at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After college, I began teaching at the school I completed my student teaching at, Tuscarawas Valley High School. While there I taught Biology and Integrated Sciences while also coaching football, wrestling, and baseball. After Tusky Valley I went on to Bemidji State University to coach NCAA division II college football. While there I taught in their PE department, earned my masters degree, and met  my future wife Sara. Together we moved to Indianapolis where I taught at Ben Davis and Cathedral High Schools. During my time at Cathedral, I moved through several leadership roles eventually becoming a Vice Principal. When we decided to move to the Green Bay area, I was lucky enough to find a teaching job at East High School before finding where I belonged as Principal at Holy Family.

My wife and I have 3 wonderful children; Cooper, Adalynn, and Bexen. We are excited to raise our family, and be a part of, this community.
