Holy Family School offers extra curricular athletic programs of flag football, cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and track. The school’s Athletic Director works with the principal in the selection of coaches and the scheduling of games and practice times, and strives to carry out the guidelines for athletics established by the Green Bay Diocesan Department of Total Catholic Education.
Cross Country is available for boys and girls in 4th through 8th grades. The season starts late August and runs until the middle of October.
Flag Football is available for boys and girls in 2nd through 4th grades. This is a learning league where the coaches stand on the field and teach the children the basics of flag football. The season starts the middle of September. The kids play two games a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for a total of four weeks.
Soccer is available for boys and girls in grades 5-8. The games are typically played on Monday and Wednesdays. Practices start late summer and the season concludes the middle of October.
Volleyball is available for girls in 5th through 8th grades. Practices start in August and the games conclude in early October. Most games are played Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Basketball is available for boys and girls in 3rd through 8th grades. For 7th and 8th, practices typically start in October . The 7th and 8th grade games typically start early November and conclude the middle of January. For 5th and 6th grade, practices start in November and they start game play early December. The season for 5th and 6th grade usually concludes towards the end of January. 3rd and 4th grade basketball is an instructional and educational program. The purpose of the program is for the students to learn the basics of basketball. Games are typically played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings for all grades.
Track is available for boys and girls in grades 4th through 8th. Track practices usually start end of March to early April with the season concluding the middle of May.
Tennis is available for boys and girls in grades 5th through 8th. Holy Family combines with St. John the Baptist school to create one team.
High School Program for Elementary Students
In addition to our GRACE school athletic offerings, Notre Dame Academy offers a robust athletic program open to elementary students. Their program is called “FUTURES”.
